How Do I Care For My Cafe Chair?

Our cafe and bistro chairs, including modern cafe chairs, are all designed with durability in mind, but it’s still important to care for them to preserve their condition. Here’s a guide to help you care for your chairs:

  1. Clean the commercial cafe chairs before stacking to prevent damage to the seat
  2. Don’t over stack chairs because it will damage the structure of the chair at the bottom
  3. Avoid using strong or abrasive cleaners because they will damage the surface
  4. Try to clean up spills straight away to prevent water damage
  5. Bring outside chairs indoors over the winter

Where are the cafe chairs made?

Most modern cafe furniture is made in Italy. Italy has a longstanding reputation for consistently producing high-quality safe tables and chairs. We also have a selection of cafe chairs that are made in the UK which have a shorter order time.

How long do the cafe chairs take to order?

The order time for our cafe chairs is around 4-6 weeks. However, some chairs are kept in stock, which can shorten their delivery time to one week.

These are normal order times, but are subject to change depending on the time of year. Please email us for up-to-date order times.

How do the cafe chairs arrive?

  • Most cafe chairs arrive assembled in a box of four.
  • Open the box remove the plastic cover and lift the chairs one by one out of the box. The cafe chairs are then ready to use.
  • If you require an installation service and packaging removal, please contact Spaceist.

Where can the cafe chairs be delivered to?

Our cafe chairs can be delivered anywhere in the UK, including areas like Cornwall, Wales, and Scotland. Delivery to some northern regions of Scotland can be more costly, so please contact us for a quote.

Are assembly instructions included?

  • Most of the cafe chairs arrive assembled.
  • All you have to do is open the box and carefully lift the chairs out of the box.
  • If the seat needs attaching to the legs there are usually only four screws that need tightening which only takes five minutes.
  • Assembly instructions will be included or we can supply a delivery and assembly service.

What is the warranty?

All our cafe chairs come with a 5-year warranty. This covers the furniture for manufacturing defects but does not cover any accidental damage or general wear and tear. Please contact Spaceist for more information on warranties.
