Outdoor seating

Designed with a significantly curved backrest, the Dome cafe chair takes inspiration from classic outdoor cafe seating, with highly curved forms for enhanced comfort.

UV-resistant colour finish

The Dome is made from fibre-glass reinforced polypropylene that provides a durable frame structure and also resistant to UV light, reducing any colour fading over time.

Indoor & outdoor use

A choice of eight colours is available, including yellow, black, red/orange and beige. For ease of storage or to move around, the Dom chair can be stacked up to eight chairs high. Ideal for use both indoors and outdoors.

FAQs

What does certified by GreenGuard mean?

The UL GREENGUARD Gold Certification Standard includes health-based criteria for additional chemicals and also requires lower total VOC emissions levels to ensure that products are acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.

In addition to limiting emissions of more than 360 VOCs and total chemical emissions, all certified products are subject to a review of the manufacturing process and routine testing to minimise the impact on the indoor environment.

Is the surface scratch resistant and durable?

Yes, the Dom chairs have a hammered-type finish which is scratch-resistant, wipeable and hard-wearing. The polypropylene which is GreenGuard GOLD certified is charged with fibreglass to strengthen the chair and give it durability.

The seat and back of the chair have been fatigued tested 200,000 times with no defects:

  1. EN 1728:2012+AC2013
  2. EN 16139:2013 level

What size is the chair dolly?

The metal chair dolly is compact so it can be easily stored when not in use. The total size is 55 cm x 53 cm and the height is 18 cm. The castors can be rolled on many types of flooring including wood floors and short pile carpet.

The total weight of 10 Dom cafe chairs (without armrests) and the trolley is 45.2 kg which can easily be manoeuvred by one person (on some carpeted floors this may not be possible).

Is the matching stool stackable?

Yes, the matching high stool is stackable up to five stools high. The stool is available in the same colours and as with the chair, the stool is certified GOLD for low chemical emissions by GreenGuard.
