The Babila chair is a striking modern design by Pedrali that is available with an optional fixed seat pad for extra comfort. The Babila chair has a matching bar stool, is made in the EU and comes with a 5-year warranty.

This stylishly curved, hard-wearing plastic chair with solid wood legs featuring a scandi style ash or black stained ash solid wood leg is designed to blend in beautifully in any classic or modern commercial interior space.

FAQs

What does certified by GreenGuard mean?

The UL GREENGUARD Gold Certification Standard includes health-based criteria for additional chemicals and also requires lower total VOC emissions levels to ensure that products are acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.

In addition to limiting emissions of more than 360 VOCs and total chemical emissions, all certified products are subject to a review of the manufacturing process and routine testing to minimise the impact on the indoor environment.

Is the Babila recyclable?

Yes, the Babila is 100% recyclable and uses 42.6% recycled materials to produce it. The solid ash wood legs are FSC certified – TC114358.

Babila environmental impact

What materials is the chair made from?

The seat is made from polypropylene with an anti-scratch finish which has been charged with glass fibre for added strength. There is a metal frame on the underside of the seat that the solid ash legs connect to. The total weight of the cafe chair is 5.2 kg.

Is the seat UV resistant?

Yes, the durable polypropylene seat is UV-resistant. If the chairs will be in direct sun (indoors) we do advise a lighter seat colour is selected because darker colours tend to fade more easily in the sunlight.
