Yes, we have a range of Eco friendly chairs which have all passed the GREENGUARD Gold Certification. Standard includes health-based criteria for additional chemicals and also requires lower total VOC emissions levels to ensure that products are acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.

In addition to limiting emissions of more than 360 VOCs and total chemical emissions, all certified products are subject to a review of the manufacturing process and routine testing to minimise the impact on the indoor environment.

Warm water & soft cloth

The easiest way is to use a soft cloth with a bucket of warm water and washing up liquid. Simply wipe the the chairs down with the cloth and rinse using clean water. A hose can be used but a pressure washer may damage the surface which will make the chairs harder to clean. Remove any standing water before the chairs are stacked.

Vinegar or mild window cleaner

Using both of these cleaners with a soft cloth is a very easy way to clean a plastic chair because they will cut through any grease and remove most light marks. Simply spray on and wipe with the cloth and rinse with clean water is necessary.

Chemical cleaners

We do not advise chemical cleaners are used because they can damage the plastic surface and will void the 5-year warranty.

• You can only achieve certain designs and chair shapes with plastic which cannot be made from wood or metal.

The life span of a plastic stackable chairs can vary depending on the usage and maintenance.

1. A plastic chair which is used outside will not have the same lifespan of an indoor plastic chair. UV light can effect the longevity of coloured plastic.
2. To extend the life make sure the chairs are cleaned regularly. This removes any dirt which can scratch the surface.
3. Regular stacking or over-stacking can also reduce the life span. The bottom chair when you over-stack can be damaged with the extra weight.
4. All plastic chairs are designed with a weight limit. If the chairs are over-weighted on regular bases this will damage the structure of the chair.

The average lifespan of a plastic chair is around 10-15 years but it does depend on the factors above.
