How Do You Choose The Right Waiting Room Furniture?

How Do You Choose The Right Waiting Area Furniture?

Selecting the perfect furniture for your waiting area involves careful planning and consideration of both aesthetics and space utilisation.

Here's a step-by-step guide to help you choose the right waiting area furniture:

  1. Plan the Layout: Start by sketching your reception area or waiting room. Include important details like doorways, heaters, and power sockets. This will give you a clear idea of the available space and how to utilise it effectively.
  2. Furniture Selection: Consider various furniture options that appeal to you. If you have ample space, a mix of reception chairs and sofas can create a comfortable and inviting area. For smaller spaces, opt for chairs that make efficient use of the room.
  3. Incorporate Tables and Decor: Strategically place a coffee table or side table to balance the arrangement. Adding a few plants can also enhance the aesthetic appeal of the room, making it more welcoming.
  4. Space-Efficient Seating Solutions: In tight spaces, consider space-saving options like the Forma wall seating. This versatile seating solution can be configured in a straight line, corner, or U-shape. With each seat being only 61 cm wide, you can accommodate up to 4 people within a 250 cm area.
What Are The Best Cleaning Methods?

What Are The Best Cleaning Methods?

You can follow our vinyl cleaning guide or simply follow this step-by-step approach to tackling various types of stains:

Step 1: Basic Stain Removal

For regular spots and stains, use a solution of mild soap and water. Gently apply the solution to the spot and wipe it clean.

Step 2: Removing Tougher Stains

For more stubborn stains, isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol) can be effective. Apply a small amount directly to the stain and gently rub. Afterwards, rinse the area with water to remove any alcohol residue.

Step 3: Handling Very Tough Stains

For extremely persistent stains, a solution of nail polish remover (acetone/water mix) can be used. Apply this solution carefully to the stain, no more than six attempts. After each attempt, rinse the area with water.

Please note that if the stain remains after six attempts, it may be permanent. Always use acetone sparingly, as excessive use can damage the vinyl.

What workplaces are waiting room furniture suitable for?

There are certain areas only a sofa will work but the following areas are more suitable for waiting room chairs. There can be for several reasons including needing the flexibility to add more waiting chairs at any time or a certain space between seated visitors is required.

These are just some of the suitable workplaces waiting room chairs are suitable for:
