Public spaces require the type of seating that offers unassuming strength and support and that is easily adaptable in multi-functioning applications. The Plural bench sofa offers just that and is our Product of the week. Designed by Jorge Pensi, the Plural bench sofa fits the requirements of public area seating through its modest yet highly functioning form.
When planning public area seating, whether it be in a healthcare centre, civic centre or a school reception, it becomes necessary to understand the dynamism’s of the space. Any furniture selected needs to be durable against high volume movement and the daily wear and tear that these spaces are accustomed to. In order to provide a minimal, practical and yet elegant product for this category, Jorge Pensi has devised the Plural bench sofa. It is constructed from a combination of fire resistance polypropylene shells and top, whilst the frame is die-cast aluminium. A final powder-coating presents a choice of three colour finishes. This versatile and modern seating system comes in four seat variations from 3 to 9, with and without arms. Further advancements in the design to bring it up to date includes an optional USB point.
