Concrete reception desks, large use of reclaimed wood, 500 locally salvaged wooden doors, and LED innovation make this project by Neumann Smith Architects a presentation of great office design to aspire to.
We like to see office design being taken to another level and here, at the refreshed offices of creative advertising company, Lowe Campbell Ewald in Detroit, USA we see just that. The modern interior is left very bare; exposed ceilings and beams and untreated concrete pillars adds a raw yet distinctive look. Posters from 1950’s-80’s from the company’s history have been used as artwork adding a touch of heritage to the modern design. A range of breakout areas feature seating variations, including benches, stools and soft furnishings from sustainable resources. Spaces for casual meetings and presentations have been provided, alongside private meeting rooms featuring state-of-the-art conferencing and presentation technology.
This project is an ideal example of the type of creative and collaborative design that is succeeding in office interiors around the world.
