Burn Marketing, an integrated marketing agency based in Richmond UK, approached the team at Spaceist to design the layout for various areas, and supply a selection of office furniture. The brief included furniture for a boardroom, client waiting room, desk space for 12 members of staff and touchdown points for ad-hoc freelancers. We were able to complete the project and supply practical options that offered the company with a suitable solution for both the spatial provisions of a growing team and meeting the budget set out.
The main challenge was making optimum use of the space available; the main workspace features an L-shape room and it as vital to ensure any storage units did not prevent the free flow of natural light. We also had to work to a specific budget, ensuring we presented this creative and fun team with a modern and highly functioning workplace.
The client specified they preferred a bench style desk system so we presented the XL desk range, which comes with a bench aspect. Constructed with a solid laminate wood, it offers a simplified block structure with a smart finish. A flap on top of the desk presents wire-free desk giving it a clean look making the XL range highly compatibility to this modern and compact office space. The white colour selection was ideal for adding further reflective surfaces adding the appearance of a larger space. Alongside a range of desk sizes, we supplied the XL storage units. For neat under-desk storage, we supplied the desk pedestal storage units. These come with lockable drawer boxes and three drawers with an integrated pencil tray. Smart and durable, they offer practical under-desk storage.
Additional storage has been presenting in the form of a tall XL white cabinet. These sit neatly along the wall and offer a matching facet to the pedestal units, with clean and simple form and highly durable qualities. Complete with lockable doors, inside they offer file hanging and shelves for versatile storage and organisation.
The final result was a highly modern and smart workspace for multiple functions. We were able to accommodate each of the requirements presented to us by the client, within the budget set out. Presenting our expertise and knowledge, we were able to highlight key factors further enhancing the use of each space and furniture products supplied.
