immanuel college is an independent school in bushey, hertfordshire. the school required a refurbishment of the sixth form centre.

the brief was to supply soft seating and tables set out in zonal areas to allow groups but to maintain openness. a large oval  study and meeting table was provided to fit with the schools room shape and allow the largest possible number of pupils around the table. the school required a stylish and contemporary design with a functional layout.

spaceist has worked together with surrey county council to design and furnish the new youth facility in caterham.

the centre will include skills training, advice and counselling, as well as recreational facilities. we supplied a furniture package covering a booth style cafe bar, high stool internet ports, a games and media lounge, a conference style project room, a chill out zone and an admin and counselling room. the young people in the area were  involved in specifying the furniture which needed to be robust and affordable as well as having a strong and striking design led contemporary style.

stylish study bench. jb45 is manufactured with 3mm compact laminate making it a very robust and long lasting construction. the edge detail is either lacquered layered ply or solid wood. the table tops can be fitted with cable outlets for power and data points.
