Can you make a real wood desk in a bespoke size?

All our real wooden office desks and made to order to your exact specification using our standard sizes. If you need a size that is not standard, the desk top can be adjusted to fit your office space.

What are the standard wood desk sizes?

Most solid wood office desks start at 140 cm wide and go up to 200 cm in 20 centimetres increments. The larger hardwood office desk, directors or executive desk are a bit larger at 220 cm and 240 cm wide with a depth of 90 or 100 centimetres.

Remember if you add under desk storage to your new wooden office desks, it reduces the amount of space to sit at the desk.

What types of wood finishes are there?

A solid wood office desk can come in oak and walnut veneer or laminate oak finish depending on which solid wood desk UK you choose.

We would only recommend a real wood desk veneer finish for an executive desk due to the quality and price. The wooden office desk laminate has a realistic look and finish compared to real wood but is much harder wearing and wipeable.
