“we were steered in the direction of spaceist by our architects. the brief was to source robust but modern and colourful furniture as part of the refurbishment of our refectory. the area was divided into several sections each responding to the needs of our staff and student clients. the spaceist furniture was used to produce a mixture of ‘highlights’ within an otherwise very functional space.
we previewed the jb tables and benches, were provided with a sample of the ‘modular cube’ units and spaceist suggested several options for tables and chairs. we even asked for a minor adjustment to the bench design which spaceist were happy to arrange.
the whole process was well managed and spaceist kept open the lines of communication throughout.
i was extremely pleased with the outcome and would happily work with spaceist again and heartily recommend them to others.”

“bishop ramsey school has recently completed a £22 million new build. in the overall design of the building it was decided to make a number of areas, ’feature areas’ spaceist ltd were one of a number of companies, recommended to the school by ghm rock townsend, our architects, who may be able to help the school to achieve our goal.
i met with the directors of spaceist ltd in august 2008. they were able to recommend a number of furniture companies that provided furniture that;
• would meet the rigors of a school environment
• was stylish and different to the traditional furniture found in a school
• at a price that the school could afford
i was impressed by the product knowledge that both directors were able to offer and delighted that they were prepared to share their ‘artistic eye’ as to how the space would look once the furniture was in place rather than simply chase a sale.
